Newsletter – Information clause

The Controller of your personal data is ALTO TAX Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-366) at ul. Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 r. 7.

The Controller may be contacted by email at: rodo@altoadvisory.pl, or by letter sent to the address of the Controller’s registered office.

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

    • to send a newsletter – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in connection with the consent expressed to receive the newsletter; in terms of providing optional data the legal basis for the processing is consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR);
    • to send marketing content as part of the newsletter – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in connection with the consent expressed to receive the newsletter.
    • for analytical and statistical purposes – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to conduct analyses of users’ activity on the Website in order to improve the functionalities used;
    • to determine or pursue possible claims or to defend against such claims by the Controller – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to protect its rights.

Your personal data may be disclosed to entities cooperating with the Controller, and entrusted for processing to entities providing newsletter distribution

Your personal data will be processed for a period enabling the Controller to pursue its legitimate interest or until you object to the processing or withdraw your consent to marketing contact. With regards to data processed on the basis of the given consent, such data will be processed for a period of the legitimate interest of the Controller or until you withdraw your consent. The processing period may be extended by the period of limitation of claims if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the Controller to determine or pursue possible claims or to defend against such claims.

You have the right to: access the content of your data and the right to obtain a copy of it, request their rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to personal data portability. If your data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Controller, you have the right to object to the processing of data due to your particular situation.

To the extent your personal data is processed by the Controller based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. For evidence purposes, the Controller requests that consent be withdrawn by written or electronic means.

If you consider that the Controller processes your personal data in breach of the provisions of law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority competent for the protection of personal data, in particular, in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. In Poland, such a supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

The provision of personal data is voluntary, but necessary to receive the newsletter.
