Pink October at ALTO. Prevention workshops

October is ahead of us: a month that for many years has been recognized worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is, according to the WHO, currently the most frequently diagnosed cancer in the world: 12% of all women are diagnosed with it. In Poland, about 20,000 women a year learn that they have the disease, and about 140,000 Polish women are currently living with the illness. The topic is particularly important, because it can affect any woman or man!
Prevention saves lives: that’s why at ALTO we don’t stand by – we act! We join this special action with the hope that we will contribute to raising awareness of breast cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
To this end, Agnieszka Ford and OnkoFit Lidka, i.e. trainers from the Kochasz – Dopilnuj (en. Love – Make Sure) foundation, will conduct a workshop for #ALTOgirls on breast cancer prevention. They will talk about what every woman should do to properly control her health.
