Sylwia Kulczycka

Sylwia Kulczycka is a Managing Partner of the TAX business line at ALTO. She specializes in tax advisory services for the life sciences, IT and professional services industries.

Sylwia advises clients on both direct and indirect taxes. She provides on-going tax advisory services, transaction advisory services and implements projects aimed at mitigating tax risks and achieving tax savings. For many years she has also carried out projects in the field of structuring remuneration for experts and management staff. Sylwia’s experience includes advising both Polish and international companies, including the management of complex legal and tax projects.

Sylwia graduated from the University of Warsaw (Master of Law, 2009) and the Warsaw School of Economics (Master of Finance and Banking, 2007). She is a licensed tax advisor since 2009. (entry no.: 11293) and a member of ACCA since 2016. She is the author of numerous press publications (e.g. Rzeczpospolita, Puls Biznesu, Forbes) and a speaker at conferences and trainings (e.g. in cooperation with the Compliance Institute). What is more, Sylwia was awarded a title od recommended advisor in the Ranking of Tax Consulting Firms of the Rzeczpospolita journal in the compliance consulting category (2021, 2022). She was recognised as a Highly Regarded Practitioner in the International Tax Review 2023 ranking in the categories General corporate tax and Woman in tax.

Prior to joining ALTO, Sylwia worked for a decade in the tax team at Dentons and earlier, for 4 years, at Ernst & Young.
