Joanna Malinowska

Joanna has been active in the insurance market for more than 15 years and currently serves as Managing Partner of ALTO’s brokerage business line.

She gained her professional experience as an insurance and reinsurance broker working with several firms, including three of the largest brokerage companies in Poland. Her career also includes extensive international cooperation, such as leading negotiations at Lloyd’s of London – the oldest and most prestigious insurance market in the world.

For nearly seven years, she managed the operations of a Danish SaaS technology company in Poland. This role gave her hands-on experience in implementing modern, international client service standards while deepening her understanding of the challenges and risks faced by technology firms across Europe.

In her work, she prioritizes service quality and tailoring insurance coverage to individual client needs, focusing on a boutique approach and bespoke insurance solutions. Thanks to her broad international experience, she is able to structure insurance placements in areas not typically available on the Polish market.

Joanna holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and completed postgraduate studies in “Economic and Legal Translation in Business” in English. Professionally, she is passionate about new technologies and the digital transformation of the insurance industry.
