ALTO Family Day

A long weekend that practically arranges itself without needing any vacation requests? It’s possible! Our annual ALTO Family Day extended the May-June weekend into a delightful four days.

Every last Friday in May means an extra day off for us, not counted against our vacation time, which everyone at ALTO can use to take care of themselves and their loved ones. This year was no different!

Together – ALTOgether, though individually – we took a well-deserved break from our daily routines. Each of us relaxed in our preferred way, whether that meant exploring nearby or far-off places, returning to familiar spots, or simply enjoying time at home.

Some spent the time alone or with a larger group. In the forest, on the balcony, in the garden, reading a mystery novel, catching up on TV series, or often in the company of four-legged friends (though we don’t discriminate against millipedes, legless creatures, or those with fewer legs, wings, and so on). And while it was sometimes intense, with the number of steps taken reaching impressive numbers, we came back recharged with fresh, positive energy.
